Default Fuel Fill Problem Poll

Doing some data gathering on the S197 Fuel Fill (premature nozzle shutoff) problem. Ford has replaced my entire EVAP emissions system, and nozzle still shuts off at 1/2 tank (only fills driver's side saddle tank). Every now and then, if I flip nozzle between 2 and 3 o-clock position, it will fill all the way up.. but that is not the answer. Anyway, Ford has agreed to send out an Engineer to evaluate my car. I'd like to take back some data showing Ford this is not an isolated problem. Your input is greatly appreciated:

Sometimes I can only put in 10 gallons when my car says empty, but then the gauge goes to full after a little bit of driving. Doesn't make much sense to me...

First week I had the car I had the problem on my first fill-up (actually overflowed). Theres a certain way it's gotta go in I realized, and I haven't had an issue since.

We are not allowed to pump our gas in Oregon but I have noticed that I have a problem with the nozzles that cover the entire opening to the fuel filler. Also if the station is not on level ground it seems to have trouble filling. When it clicks off you can heara gurgle coming from the filler.

I seem to only get this problem in California with the really large nozzles they have there.

I've had it happen to me before, not that often. I usually just stop filling and leave the gas station.

Mine hasn't clicked off prematurly in a long time. I found a pump my GT likes at the Shell and I stay with that one.
