I have had this problem once. I couldn't even put in a gallon of gas in my car.The nozzlekept clicking off and actually overflowed and ran down the side of the car. I went a 1/2 mile up the road and put 13 gallons in at a BP. This issue was at an Exxon station in DE.

 

Never had any problems. Just hold the handle down and don't let off until it cuts off. Hits full every time.

 

No problem here., thank God. I have an '06 GT, 16,400 miles, 1 year and 4 months of ownership since new, and 800 gals of gas later, no problems with the fuel shut off isue!

 

I had the problem again last night trying to get home after work. I had to stop at 3 friggin gas stations to fill the damn car up. Atleast the dealership I bought it from is top notch. They know of the problem and are gonna try and fix that along with the fuel pump. I also have the hesitation after a long cruise. TSB 06-9-9 describes the problem and the fix. Hopefully after this I'll be good to go.

 

This has happened at least twice in the last year. the most recent one about a week ago. I had to do the whole "turn the nozzle sideways" bit LOL it was around IDK 8-9 in the morning when theres a good amount of people filling up. They peobably thought I was cheap and wanted to get every last drop I could LMAO! Its a PITA tho...
