Mine is 3M. I didn't pay as it was a deal the shop cut me in return for letting them keep my car for 2 extra days to use in their open day

For the hood, lights & fenders it would have been $400 Canadian (+14% tax), which is cheap I reckon.

I also went with X-Pel (3M). I had the following pieces installed: hood & front fenders, bumper, chin-spoiler, headlights, foglights, turn signal lamps, mirrors, and door cups. That 8mil film is really tough and has already saved my hood and chin spoiler numerous times (rocks bounce right off). Materials & Labor was $580 out the door. The real key is the skill of the installer. I watched the install and man, I can tell you it take a real artist to get those pieces to lay down and look invisible. Mine's been on for 1 year now and looks as good as it did day 1.

My buddy paid $800 to put it on his Shelby at a very good shop the day he bought it. Looks perfect to this day.

that is a bit steep, we charge our Lexus guest's $695.00, cost for us is $350.00 installed, 3M. I would strongly advise on trying to negotiate the price your about to pay, I was going to go with it, but decided against it.

Oh believe me, I tried. As I said, the three places were all within $100 of each other (one was $900+). The installer I am going to usebasically told me the material is all the same and it's the installer that makes the difference. He told me if I wanted to go with the cheapest placethen do it - he came down some but he wasn't going to match it.

My clear bra was around $500 and it covered the front part of the hood, bumper, behind the wheel wells... They did an excellent job. I believe it was 3M. $800 is not a terrible price. I'd say it is more important to find the place that does the best job and stands behind it w/ a lifetime warranty. You get what you pay for.
