hey guys and gals im getting tint done tomorrow i dont know what % to get and i dont want to be getting tickets everytime i leave the house i was thinking about gettng 20% all the way around what do you guys and galsall have

I don't have tint, but by law, the tint guys can't install anything darker than what is legal in their (your) state so no worries.

 

Depends on your state laws. Right now while I'm stationed in Kansas "Dorothy & ToTo land" I'm good. But if I move back to California and register it there the good old CHP might have an issue.

Yeh they do, you just have to sign a release.

I didn't want any issues either so I went with 35% fronts 20% rears.

 

i had 35% front and 20 rear, but 35 is toooo light. i now have 20 all the way around, and its perfect.

 

they can install any % tint you want. theres no law against it, you just have to sign a release that says you understand the tint is under the legal %

 

what is the legel % anyway is it 35 % and you can have you back as dark as you want

 

Looked into tinting yesterday. Wisconsin is tough on tints. The tint guy said don't do it......esp. with a Torch Red SuperCharged Stang
