Default RE: Ford ESP plans...

I thought about getting the ESP also. My warranty is up in July but I only put about 3500 miles/yr on the car. My fear is that I have a lot of very minor mods on my car and I'm afraid the dealer won't honor the warranty when I have a problem. During the first 3 months and 1000 miles I took it to Country Ford in Levitown NY and they refused to honor the warranty for the leaking brake reservoir and a mis-aligned weatherstrip molding because they said I had modified the car by adding a CAI, UDs and a chin spoiler.

Eventhoguh the ESP would have only been $900 for bumper to bumper warranty for anothr 4 years and 40K miles, I'm just afraid that they will refuse service when I need it.
