Nobody said they wouldn't fit. It's more of a "why would you" sort of thing, it's not a Camaro[8D]

And yes, your bumper will discolor from the heat, or worse, evenshed paint/melt the bumper.

Ive got a 5 inch pipeon my powerstroke, pipe not a tip now, and it looks HUGE I would never dare do this on the stang.
