Default Computer / Battery issue

My Trickle charger says I have a bad cell in my battery? But my computer and SCT tuner say nothing. But every time I turn the car off it goes completely dead. Turn the key on, the dash lights dont come on right away, and the radio does all that cycling crap, but car starts. Then dash lights come on. Note : I just took car out of storage 3 hours ago. Been stored since October, and I did have to charge battery. Any clue or do I just need a new Battery?

New battery if the trickle chager is smart enough to know.
A dead cell is a dead cell.
Load test it with the starter and a volt meter with a min/max memory.

What makes you think that your computer andtuner can tell you have a bad cell in your battery? They won't and can't.

Trickle charging won't bring a dead car battery back to full capacity, ASSUMING the battery'snot shot.

Why not just spring for a new battery?

Seems like the notorious dead battery issue. If your car is still under warranty within the 3year 36,000 mile limit, which seems doubtful because its an 05, you can get the battery replaced for free.

Just out of curiousity, do you have the optional anti-theft system in your car? You know, the blue blinking light thing under the dash.
