You guys say you can get new GT for how much?
A new GT for $21k I think is pretty unreasonable.
The sticker would be around $30k. Even going to invoice, ($28k), and then getting all applicable rebates ($3k, $3.5k if you're in college), you're still WAAAAY off of $21k. At $21k, you should be looking for a nice used one.

Guys and Gals it can be done:
Edmunds.com:
08 Base GT Deluxe:
MSRP $27,035
Invoice $24,981
Minus Rebates $1500 and $500
$22,981 Minus Dealer Holdback $811.05
$22,169.95
So if a dealer is really trying to push some base models off the lot to avoid property taxes, ad costs etc...it can be done.

The rebate total was $4,000.00 you had to finance with ford credit, he got 5.9 for 60 I think not sure about time, you can't pay it off for 7 or 9 months,The was a basic g/t 5 speed p/s p/w p/b a/c c/d radio, cloth int, cruise, tilt, It also had 18 inch polish bullits with b/f goodrich tires, This was a end of the month sale car had to be bought buy Sunday including Sunday.I was surprised it 18 polish bullits on it? but it did.Their was a 595.00 dealer prep charge, interest and tax, tag, title fee.
