When I bought new wheels recently, I purchased4 band kits (bands, brackets and adhesive) from AmericanMuscle at $16.90/kit and reused my old sensors. I believe new sensors are about $100 each from Ford.

Can you just turn the TPMS feature off with an XCal 2?

I am selling my stockers and don't even want to split them at this point.

Thanks.

No, it can't be disabled with any hand-held tuner. I've heard by law they can't be disabled. And I've looked at the wiring of the system and it's beyond me how to disable it. IF you have the sensors, you can build and toss them into a pressurized tube and toss the tube in the trunk.

My car flashesthe TPMS icon for about 2-3 minutes when I start the car, but goes away after that. Doesn't bother me at all.
