I'll say!
I've also been shaking my head reading these responses.
Prying it up with a screwdriver? Using an exacto knife?

I guess dents and scratches in the clearcoat are fine to some!

Use something to heat the badge, either a hair drier or the hot sun. Tape off the area with that blue masking tape. get fishing line or dental floss tied between 2 sticks and cut it off. Clean off any residue with Goo Gone or bug and tar remover. Then be sure to wax that area!

I used a hair dryer. I heated it and gently pulled it off with my fingers. Most of the glue came off with the sticker, and when it cooled, I was able to just rub the rest of the glue, again with my fingers and it sort of balled up and I picked it off.
+1

Also, any residue left, you can use liquid carnuba wax. Just rub it in.Gets it right off!

I actually got really lucky. The day I went to pick up the car I saw one of the shop guysputting the sticker on. Once I shook the dealers hand I drove out of the lot....went about a mile down the road and peeled the sticker right off without any problems. No need for anything else....prob because it was only on for about ten minutes. Now there is a light pole in a parking lot with my dealers sticker on it

Dull razor blade and wax and grease remover worked for me for years.
Paint thinner (not laquer thinner) works good too and all the goo gone alike (after the razor blade deal).
