I've been contemplating hood pins lately but i cant decide which ones to go with. I really like the black shelby ones but I'm not sure if I want to drill through my hood. anyone have the stick on ones?

140 isn't much of a concern for me considering the speed limit is somewhere around 45 where i live

altho even with a great driver stuff can go horribly wrong. my friend had his camara ss at 130 and this front tire rolled off the bead.... well.. needless to say his car is nolonger with us. amzingly he only suffered a broken leg.

That's the way I feel.
I pushed my old Cougar (not stock) at 140 a couple of times with average tires and it wasn't very smart on my part.
There's one spot here in town that has a very smooth tarmac, so it's perfect for a hi speedtest at the right hours.
I made a first pass to make sure there was no cops, turned around and open it up (no traffic of any kind, 3 lanes).
I was all by myself but if some went wrong, I'd be history...
It's a classic car, so no roll cage. Everything else is modified.

I don't think I'll do it again anytime soon. I had my rush.

Put the appearance pins on for awhile, to make sure you like the look. Then if so, drill in the real ones. Worked for me.....Oh, and I have a set of the appearance pins for sale if you're interested. Just needs new 3M tape....
