Big thanks. I will wait 'patiently' for the information as I am truly trust you on these suggestions and am really only considering the Saleen sc.

Any change to exhaust necessary with the Saleen? midpipe, catback, headers, etc.

An exhaust change isn't necessary, but I recommend some higher flow mufflers and an X pipe to help max your car's supercharger potential. The bottom line is that I would upgrade the stock 05 exhaust if I was adding a blower.

I tell ya, this forum has been a godsend for me, and of course, LostSoul. That's a pun isn't it? paradox? oxymoron? Anyways, I have to say that my excitement for the car is matched for my excitement to get on this forum and learn from people who really know what they are talking about and want to share that information with myself and others. I actually feel like I am starting to know something about the car.

AND, my splice work on the taillights was the first thing I have ever done to a car myself. It is only the first of many things that I want to be able to do. Learn here, do my homework, ask questions, save the money, get it done, get it tuned (when necessary), and ENJOY.

GW... have you been over to JBA yet for the dyno pull? Have you talked to them about the Saleen s/c? Is it legal in California?

I have not been over to JBA yet as I do not have the SCT xcal and SHM ud pulleys. I have spoken with them about doing the baseline dyno, followed by the reflash and pulleys and CAI. Their price is for 2 pulls and is expensive, so the compromise was to set up an appt that would coincide with all my parts being in.

Yes, the Saleen sc is legal in CA.
