Thanks for the feedback people, but most of these are just options, what about the standard equipment? Also again, is it true about the aux line and light timer?

what lights do you mean? i have an 05 and when you hit unlock, it turns on the dome lights...when you hit lock, the dome lights go out and the parking and tail lamps flash once

I'm talking about the headlights, on my 07 v6 they turn on when I hit the unlock and when I press lock the headlights go off.

The reason I'm asking these questions is because I'm trying to get an '05 GT and wanted to know the differences option wise.

I have 07 Premium V6.
These are differences from earlier models (most are options).
Computer programming (Supercharger had to have a different program)
My-color dashboard lights (might be on 06 as well?)
Heated Seats
6-way Power Seats on both Driver and Passenger side
Aux input for Shaker
Stiffer Body (they stiffened the transmission tunnel for the GT500 and since all mustangs have the same frame, it carried over to all the mustangs)
Some Body Color differences
A few odd optional 2-tone interior packages (not common, I've only seen 1 in person)
Rerouted some of the hoses in the engine compartment

The 2007 Mustangs are two years newer than the 2005.

Was that even remotely necessary?

he makes a good point actually.....thats 2 years of more development on the current platform where little tweaks have been done im sure, less miles, more warranty.......its a valid point that you should consider

it is also called the obvious, in which an obvious matter is always considered... because it is obvious
