Well you aren't that new around here so you should know that there is a HOW-TO and TACO-BILL HOW-TO STICKY on the first page. Go scroll through it and it might answer a lot more questions you have as well...
You're right I did check that a couple days ago but didn't notice a thread specific to axle back portion of the install. There may have been something in there if I'd dug deeper.

Regardless, I did find a couple threads that are pertinent.

Sounds like this might be more of a pain than I thought. Leastways if I want stuff to sit at the right angle in the cutouts.

It's an easy install. The hardest part would be the headaches of getting the tips to line up right. The factory clamp is on real tight, just like our oil filter. A little penetrating spray and an extension for leverage work great. Break that bolt loose. A skinny open end wrench is useful for the factory hanger bolts that are a little tight fit above the center of the mufflers. Don't waste your money at an exhaust shop. Give it a try.

[align=left]Give it a try and save your money. It's not that hard to do. One thing that does make the job a little easier though is a set of ratching wrenches because some of the upper bolts are a little difficult to reach.

Thanks I found TacoBill's stinger exhaust install how-to. I have a friend with ramps and some tools so we should be able to do this on our own. Worth a try anyway I agree.

Plug and play if they are quality aftermarket axle backs.
No need for the ramps.
Be careful BACKING onto those ramps. I have seen them shoot out
and end up under the car leaving it teetering like a turtle on a round rock.
Major damage.

Call me crazy, but I am pretty sure this is as specific as it can get!!! Where was it, right where I said it was, TACO-BILL's Sticky

Yes I found the sticky. Will I receive a public flogging should I start another thread "unnecessarily"?

At least I didn't dig up a 15 year old thread. Seen that happen many times the past few days.

One last question. Will these boomtubes have any affect, positive or negative, regarding horsepower? Assuming rest of the exhaust stays stock.

No real effect on hp. Could lose a few, could gain a few? Hard to tell on everyones car.

It's really really easy.
I've never even changed my own oil and I did it without any problems.
