I was given an awesome b day present yesterday. A Skip Barber Racing School Intro to Racing Class!! 3 hrs. of class & 1 hr. on The Track at
Road America. Not in my Stang though, in one of his open wheel race cars. not a lot of hp...top end 120 mph. But then that's way more than I could run on a track like Road America...........So excited I'm posting a pic of my Stang before all my mods are done.

Wish I received gifts like that I looked into Skip Barber - they have a big reputation but a little pricey for me. Have fun, bet it will be a blast, not many of us get a chance to drive a real open wheel race car.

You are indeed lucky, Road America is one of THE BEST road courses in America (also the longest at 4.06 miles). I may be biased as it is my local track (I was just up there last weekend teching cars for the Midwest F Body Association), but trust me, you will fall in love with this track in a hurry! It has a VERY long straight away!!! I have never had my Stang out on the track besides parade laps for the clubs I tech for, but I did get to participate in the SRT track experiance here. Going for a few laps in a race prepped Viper and a proffesional driver, then taking other SRT vehicles out by ourselves was a real treat!
