Mac Prochamber that attaches to stock cats
Hey just found these on the internet. I have been wanting to get the pro-chamber for a while now but wanted to stay legal. Now I found a website that sells it. Does anyone have a sound clip of these? I'm convince that they sound like the famous new edge 2 -valve.

I was afraid their wouldn't be any response. I love the sound of a prochamber and this coupled with my Mac axlebacks would be the best sound going. If anyone ever purchases this and can remember send me an audio clip. I'm thinking of getting this with that bogus incitement check.

This may be a dumb question - and I don't mean to start any trouble by it. But why is the direct fit prochamber $300 when a direct fit x-pipe is only $90 (pypes) or $130 (FRPP)? Is the prochamber really worth that kind of price?

if you couple the prochamber with the stock cats, it's going to be quieter than it already is.. it will probably add some drone as well, and that's the last thing the Mac Axleback needs.

I'm gonna be ordering the offroad prochamber and was thinking of getting a set of the mac axlebacks too. should I pick a different axleback instead? don't want too much drone..

I was planning to get that direct fit prochamber to go with my stock cats until I learned that MAC has a prochamber with high flow cats built in. The model number is PC5005. That should up the sound volume which is what I'm looking for and it's smog legal too. I've been told by some that MAC doesn't make those anymore but it's still in their catalog. I've emailed MAC and should hear back from them on Monday or so.
Here's MAC's catalog. Look for model PC5005 in the catalog. List price is $529.50. I've seen it for $499 on some sites.

If it turns out that MAC really doesn't carry the PC5005 anymore then I'll just get the O/R prochamber and run that for awhile before adding some Pypes high flow cats to it.
