I believeChampion is the only one making a 1 piece plugfor these motors. If you choose to go that way they will run you almost $20/plug

Good to hear this went well for you. I just did mine on Friday, and I was scared as hell. Used PB Blaster and took my sweet time removing them (I was installing my black billit grille while the PB Blaster penetrated). They came out with a few sounds I didn't enjoy (squealing, etc) but this shouldn't be an issue in the future (thanks to anti-seize), so the changes in the future should be good.

I replaced the plugs with new Motorcraft plugs, but kept the old ones and will probably just clean those and pop them back in at 50,000 miles (I had 23,000 on the engine before this change).

I'm glad I did it!
