Hey guys, ( and gals ) I'm just about ready to start shopping for some GT 500 parts.. you know, the conversion
Well, after looking around these forums, and clicking on links and all the good stuff I came across this website.. BUT it sounds a bit fishy.. That's why I want to check with you guys first..

I'm curious if anyone here has ordered anything from them..
They seem really cheap on prices.. I estimated the whole front for a GT 500 at more or less $1200..

BTW, reason I said it sounds fishy.. yahoo e-mail for contact, 4 guys answering phones.. doesn't really sound like a company per say.. but yet, they pop at the top of google searches when doing " ford parts " search.. Thx in advance.

 

I ordered a gt500 headlamp assy from them, great price and got here in about 4 days.

I would deal with them again...

 

I can't help you with that website but I bought my whole gt500 conversion from http://fordpartsguy.com/. I will purchase other parts from them in the future great to work with.

 

Sevenleaf what was your grand total ? was it around 1200 ? I want to order the whole thing, but I don't want to get scammed. I would rather buy parts one by one. I'll check out that site now. thx

I have never ordered from them. but call Jon (he is at a ford dealership in NC) 704-938-3121 I don't know if they carry what you are looking for but as far as FRPP goes they are the cheapest I have found.

 

Ordered my hydraulic slave cylinder from them. I placed the order on Friday night. It shipped out on Tuesday. I got it on Friday. The part shipped from Texas by the way.

 

Thx guys.. BTW what prices did you ( anyone that did the conversion ) pay on the paint..? Are we talking about 1k - 1.5 k for a good job? Not like I'mgoing to take it to fact-o-bake or maaco lol, just curious what the paint will run me, before I go and hear outrageous quotes.

 

I purchased my replacement GT500 front bumper cover from them (wrecked the first one [:@]). Good price and fast shipping. By the way I paid $275.00 to get it painted. Of course I have done a lot of business with the shop so they always cut me a deal. I think about $350.00 is average for the bumper cover paint and anywhere from $350.00 to $800.00 for painting a fiberglass hood. It really depends on the quality of the hood and how much prep work needs done to it.

 

My Total parts shipped was like $1700 + I paid $1000 to have the underside of my hood painted and the front bumper.
