Hurst. Tried the others and I LOVE the notchy feel of the Hurst. The steeda didn't seem much shorter than stock to me, just that the shifter was pulled back from the dash a little bit and that the shifter when in 2nd, 4th, or Reverse the shifter seemed to be even closer to the back of the shift boot. Hurst is short, looks great, performs amazing, and also it sits in the middle of the shift boot and shifting...area of the console (lol i didn't know what to exactly call that area haha)

If you plan to drag race, the Hurst will not be user friendly with power shifts
My car isused forbracket drag racing withvery limited street use (10-15 miles in a week maybe). The Hurst in the pic came with the 4r70w transmission. I don't know if there is a similar Hurst model for stock transmissions, but this one is in a 3 speedforward shift pattern and you can't miss a gear.

i have a pro 5.0, but i heard Hurst has a new shifter w/ adjustable stops and shorter throw. there was a delay in putting this out because ofB&M shiftersbuying hurst. but heres my 5.0 w/ hurst t-handle, kind of a hybrid shifter.

Forget those, go with the Roush, Its 55% shorter throw and you can use your factory handle if you want or any of the roush shifter handles they make.
Agreed. I have the Roush and I love it! Short, crisp, and it looks great.

That looks great Steve. You just need to find something to cover the bottom portion, if you care, which I suspect you don't.

Everyday I think about that 4R70W swap the more I want to do it.

Its not hard to install yourself. I did it with a friend in under an hour. The Hurst goes for 150-180, and no one should charge you more thanan hour for install.
