In NY it cost me $48.50 for two years.

Don't know how much it was from the dealer but everything lasts 4 years on brand new car in Jersey, including inspection

$189 in Utah. Safety and emissions every 2 years for vehicles 6yrs old or newer and every year if older than 6 yrs.
That's another $35 or so. Registration varies...my '99 buick would have been$89 (but my kid totaled it on my wedding night while we were in Vegas). There went my winter car...bought an '03 Durango and there went alot of MOD $$$.
