so i was thinkin about a whipple now and am getting cash together now??? anything to add??? did you guys like it??? did you have to put in a new spline???
I think you'd better think about forged internals. You might as well get the rebuild out of the way now, otherwise your rebuild later will be more expensive.

+1 I got the HO kit for the whipple and wish I could throw on a 14 psi pulley for more power...or even a 12 psi pulley, but I don't wanna run the risk of blowing the motor. The 500hp kit (HO) is a complete kit and comes with everything you need...so does the 400hp kit, but trust me it's worth the extra $ to go with the HO straight up because once you get into boost and hear that pretty whine you can only want moreRight now I'm having to save for forged internals when if I had just done it upfront when the S/C was put on it probably would of saved a lot of $. I don't regret getting the Whipple, it's one the best kit out there for my cars IMHO because of all that comes with it and it's potential. You might want to buy some gauges though to monitor your engine and other performance aspects. I got the Triple Gauge Dashpod from Autometer and then got 3 gauges (Wideband A/F ratio, Electrical Oil Pressure, and a Mechanical Boost/Vacuum). You'll see that there are cheaper gauges like there is a mechanical oil pressure gauge that is much cheaper, but the electrical is the way to go because if you use a mechanical gauge you have to run an oil line into the cabin and well it that breaks you can only imagine how bad it'd be if the line broke lol.[:'(]
