Other than changing tunes and going from 91 to 93 octane and 93 to a race tune (100). I never have noticed the difference between different gas stations and the gas they offer. I use only BP now and it is what Ford recommends and my tuner....to each his own and different parts of the country feel differently about the same gas stations.[&:]

I personaly like to use a well known brand exxon, bp sunoco etc, however about a week ago I got some bad gass in my car, it was knocking (filled up where I usualy fill up exxon), I used regular 87 gass as I am not tuned. So after I filled up about a mile or two down the road the car felt slugish. I continued on my way granny shifting until I got home from work that evening. I put in some octane booster and got the worst fuel economy I have ever gotten on a tank of gass, but after the octane booster the problem cleared itself after a fiew miles, I averaged around 15mpg self calculated.

I honestly would drive farther to fill up if I could find a nice bp or a decent sunoco.

I use either BP, UDF, Thortons, or Shell. I usually go to whoever is the cheapest.

I asked a fuel tank driver at the gas station on fuel and he said he gets it all from the same place however I do believe that some gas stations are in better shape than others. B.P. your paying for the name. Sunoco generally gives me the best but the price range is about middle. I have learned the best time to pump gas is in the morning when it's cooler than the day when it's warmer. also that it's best to not get gas when the truck is pumping gas into the fuel reservoir because of the trash that is pushed up from the bottom.
