Default Axle-back Flowmaster

Has anyone installed Flowmaster's Axle-Back system and noticed a power loss when cruising in the 40 - 60 mph range?

I had mine installed and a couple days later I started to notice a loss in power and torque unless the motor is under alot of load before reaching the 40-60mph range. I wonder if this is due to loss of backpressure...

I have them and didn't notice anything (except my wife complaining about it being loud)!

Running the FlowMaster 40's in my car, and it feels the same? Bit of a resonance at low RPM, but otherwise no problems

Personally, I don't think you can actually "feel" any loss in torque from installing a new muffler. I think what happens is that since the car is now louder, you expect it to be pulling a little harder, but it's still the same engine you had before. It's all in your head, IMO.

Is your car a stick or auto? that would make a difference because thats a major factor that the computer computes.....

what could i have done wrong? There is nothing back there that could be at risk of damaging while swaping the mufflers...
