Default Exhaust question (leaks)

When are leaks typically apparent and what do they sound like? Do you hear it on acceleration, idle, or deceleration? Or both?

My boomtubes sound great but I've noticed when the car decelerates and it's in gear I can hear a kind of rumbly noise that isn't really that smooth. Not sure if it's abnormal or not.

you can try putting some soapy water on the connection and if it bubbles theres a leak.
but if you're talking about popping or rough gurgling sound w/ decceleration, that would be normal w/ any straight thru muffler delete and nothing to worry about.

+1 soapy water is a nifty idea

Yeah it's kind of a gurgling sound I guess. The sound of the engine decelerating as the car slows isn't as smooth as it was w/the factory mufflers.
