Default Adding long tubes.

I'm thinking of adding long tubes to my list of mods in the next month or so, at which time I will be switching to an O/R H pipe. Just wondering how much louder the LTs make my car from what it is now and how it will changed the over all tone. The long tubes are packaged with 2 H pipes...I'm not sure what brand they are but they are in the ballpark of the $400s. I'm waiting for another guy to install them and put it on the dyno to make my final analysis. Thanks.

Yeah, you'll want a muffler with longtubes and the off-road pipe. Sounds like the LT's you're talking about are OBX. The cats aren't really cats. They're straight through resonators. From what I've read, they don't do much, if anything. You may actually want to take the "cats" out and have real high-flow cats welded in place. But they're good pipes for the price, no doubt about that.

That's right they are resonators. I already have resonators welded in after the A/B and before the midpipe. They make a WORLD of difference when compared to no resonators.
