Steeda Tri-Ax Gear Whine
I recently installed a Steeda Tri-Ax in my 08 GT and notice a little more gear whine than I did before. It doesn't bother me, just making sure this isn't an indication of tranny damage. It has always Whined a little, I just notice it more now, maybe because I am paying more attention. Only time I really notice it is when I have the radio down or off. Is this just the nature of these transmissions/aftermarket shifters? Has anyone else noticed this?Thanks.

Yes, I noticed that too. But it doesn't bother me either.
There is nothing wrong with your transmission - its just the nature of higher performance parts.
