I just realized it might actually be the gas, I filled up just before the problem started, always 93 octane but might have been a bad batch though

Did the ticking happen while spraying? When I just had an intake and tune, my car would start pinging in the summer, but never in the winter. I just ran my 91 tune in the summer with 93 octane.
