If you use Bug & Tar remover, you'll have to rewax the area you used it on.

My advice is to go to www.autodetailingsolutions.com and buy a few Yellow Honeycomb Bug Sponges. They feel like they'd scratch the hell out of your paint but it won't. Just keep it lubricated with soap and water and the bugs come off super easy. This is also coming from someone who is a major detailer, I have more money in my detailing stuff than some have in their cars. LOL.

D&L or GOJOhand cleaner ( the white stuff w/no abrasives) slather it on, since it`s thick it stays put. Go have a beer, when you come back to rinse it off, the bug carcasses are dissolving. Yes, you`ll have to rewax. Works GREAT on tar, just be patient and let it do the work.

I have a chamois (synthetic) that has a smooth side and a perferated side. after a drive I just wipe down the front of the car with it. they come off easy when you get at them right away another good method for tough bugs is to get a large chamois dripping wet with warm/hot water and drape it over your front bumper. Let it sit for a few minutes and the bugs will wipe right off. Most chemicals will remove the wax. just keeping the front of the car waxed real good will help tremendously.

Keep the car waxed good and they come off pretty easy with just car wash soap and a regular sponge.
