Default 99GT Wheels on 06??

Hi Everyone,

I found a great deal on a set of 4 '99 GT rims & tires for a great price. Will they work on my 06.I checked the FAQ and did some internet searches but could not get a answer.

Thanks in advance,

Dean

It depends on the offset andI'm guessing here but I don't think those wheels are the right offset.

No, the older stangs used ?26mm? offset
and the S197s use 38-45-50mm offset
depending on the OEM rim used. Its not a deal
unless you use spacers (yuck) []

Check the rims/offsets in a MustangsUnlimited catalog.
Lots of mustang rim info there.

Would it be ok just to use them for the track in the rear?, i think that it is only going to stick out a half an inch

If they fit, its fine to use them.
The rim widths must be the same before you can
compare offsets to ensure proper fitment.
But to tell you it will 100% work before you buy them,
its not going to happen. Buyer beware.
