Default Final question on the C Series!

I know ive asked my fair share of them so here's my last-

We all know the full kit is ~4grand. I need to have it painted and preped/fitted/sanded whatever. All pieces=How much?
Also, I can install everything once that is done except the side exhaust. That I cant do. Whats the going rate these days for a side exhaust installation.

Thanks guys, enjoy the ****ing weekend!!

Why can't you install the side exhaust? It's pretty straight forward. As far as paint, that's going to vary from shop to shop. I paid $2500 including custom super snake style stripes, but that included installation.

I just have minimal skil at applying a kit in general. Im sure they come with instructions? Or there will be write ups. But I dont have a CLUE as to what goes on under the car and no means to lift it, other then a small jack.

Would this pretty much work the same way?

Plus, would either of these hoods look good on the C Series?

The '68 style hood would probably work best. As I said, the exhaust is straight forward. I did it all with the car on jack stands. No big deal. The hardest part is lining up the tips.

So its all just following the directions? Easy? Would you agree the exhaust is the hardest to install? I also feel troubled installing my own window scoops. wrong adhesive or not ligned up straight would suck!!

Not sure how much install cost is for the side exhaust that just bolts right up to the factory CATs on back. I like the second and thrid hood and NOT the first -JMO though. Take your time and be careful when applying any of the parts and have someone there to help you with the install.

Use 3M tape with red backing and you'll be fine. If the parts come with that great. If they come with anything other than that, go to the autoparts store and buy some of that instead.

I didn't install the rest of the kit, so I can't say what's harder, but if you just follow the directions, the exhaust is pretty easy.
