Default Removing tint is a PITA!

Just picked up a GT & the tint on the front windows had numerous vertical scratches. I removed the tint because of this. I pulled the tint off & there was alot of adhesive still remaining on the windows. I purchased "Tint Off" from walmart but it didnt do anything. I ended up using a razor blade to get the majority of the adhesive off, & then applied Tint Off. This seemd to work but was a major PITA! My fingers are in pain right now. Anyone else have a tough time removing their tint? For future reference, is there an easier way?

When you re-tint, be sure to use moleskin on the inside wiper. Taco Bill has a write up on this. I've used it and after 2 years not a single scratch.
