I ordered the Bassani modular X pipe from Brenspeed and installed it. Does anyone else have problems with this system rattling to beat the band? I got under the car and I can see that the hanger on the x pipe is hitting one of the bolts on the transmission brace. I tried to adjust it to give it some more room, but it is still rattling. Is it a design problem or just a defective unit? Should I get an RA # and send it back to brenspeed? Thanks guys!

 

My Bassani mufflers did not line up at all they were poorly designed imo.

I spent hours trying to get them lined up went to a muffler shop had them cut and rewielded what a huge PITA.

I would say call brenspeed before you do anything else to them and see what they say.

i had no problem with mine exept for those shi tty clamps wich i replaced with real muffler clamps

 

I had a similar issue with my h-pipe that came with my long tubes... I ended up just letting an exhaust shop fix everything...it was only like $75 and worth it...no rattles and no issues...
