Brentat Brenspeed said that the kooks didn't need a tune at all. There is no pinging, or knocking either.

There won't be pinging or knocking, but you will need a tune to get the most out of your LT's. When you install LT's you relocate the position of the O2 sensors, which affects the readings and the computer compensates accordingly, often in a performance-robbing way.
