Default tpms placement on the wheel

when i install my tpms sensors on my new wheels, does it matter where the tpms sensor is located on the wheel...i seem to think i remember reading somewhere that they were suppose to go on the opposite end of the valve stem...but i cant remember

And a pic to boot.
The sensor also needs to be orientated right.
There are markings for which side to the align
