Just throw on an offroad h or x. Better to save the cats in case you ever need to switch back.

The factory cats are pretty high flow, and cost about 3-5 HP from what I've been told. I'd keep 'em on, or when going aftermarket get replacement high flows. Hollowing out was with the older cats that were real restrictive.('80's cars) I don't think its worth it to gain 3-5 HP and not have cats on. I'd stay leagl to avoid BS, the 3-5 you can make up in other ways. Just IMHO.

If these are high flow, then i'd hate to see restrictive.
