Door Speakers?
they will be fine. overpower a speaker is always better that under powering them.

my receiver puts out 50w X 4.......
if i bought the kicker ds680 that are 70w, will they blow if installed?...i mean im not going to hook up and amp to them, but if i just used those with my receiver, would they blow?
i could go get the kicker ks which are 140w but its a $40 difference, but il lgo get them if the ds are gonna blow.....

Nice clean distortion free power does not blow speakers as fast as lower power distortion.
Distortion kills speakers..
