Tokico D-spec feedback poll
I've lowered the car with the Eibach pro kit.The ride is somewhat harsh to say the least. I'm thinking about upgrading my shocks and struts and I see most have the Tokico's D-Spec's. Before I dish out 500 bucks plus another alignment I thought I'd ask and make sure before I pull the trigger. Thanks
I LOVE THEM !! I was about to get the non adj but was talked into them from people on here as well as other places. I'm really happy that I went with them. I've got the fronts set at 4 turns in from full hard and the rears set at 5 turns from full hard. It rides really good. I've also got the Steeda Sport Springs. I love it !!

The D-Specs and Stock are the only dampers I've tried so I have nothing to compare against, like the Konis for example. But I can't get over how flexible these things are - they do eveything and very well: street, highway, AX, Drag, you name it - infinite adjustability. They are awesome.
Loveours my wife said that the best investment that I have made so far it the d-specs, the stang is her daily driver and she love the ride of the dampnter set to the softest setting.

I ran with the original (15,000-mile-old) struts/shocks on Steeda Sports for a while before getting smart with D-Specs, and the improvement in ride and handling was remarkable.
Right now I'm running 5 and five, front and rear. At the drags I run full out in front, full in at the rear, allowing the front to raise with as little resistance as possible, weight transfer applied to the rear as quickly as possible. At autocross, depending on tire/wheel and front/rear sway bar combinations, anywhere from 1 1/2 out rear, four out front to 1/2 out rear to 3 1/2 (or more) out front. Stiffer = less cornering power at that end.
LOVE is a pretty strong word, but not that far out of the ballpark.
