Default Factory Mufflers

I have a set of factory mufflers that I got from my neighbor off his 2007 Mustang, his car is a manual trans, Mine is an automatic, I wanted them for the rolled tips. I have now noticed that they have different Numbers on them. I looked them up on a ford website, The mufflers for the manual are $70 more. Does anybody know why, Will I have to change my tune? Thanks, Lee

Maybe the ones for the automatics are slightly smaller because of the header routing around the oil pan which is wider than the oil pan on a standard.[sm=interesting.gif]

any reason why you didn't post the #'s so we can check and let you know?

+1
post numbers

On another note,
I found how to get 100 extra HP without purchasing a thing.
I am not going to get into the details of the mod becuase
its to hard to include details in posts... PM me for the details
so I can answer the same question about a hundred different times....
Do you think I am hurting my engine by doing this mod?

Not sure about the p/n differences... but I've never heard of any muffler/axleback which requires a tune or a tune change.

The automatic mufflers are quieter, from what I understand, to reduce in cabin noise. The manual mufflers will be slightly louder on your car than your stock auto mufflers, and will have the nicer tips.
