Default Rear louvers question

I'm thinking of buying the Astra Hammond aluminum rear louvers from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Astra-Hammond-.../dp/B000CFS8CA

A couple of questions for those of you who have these louvers. First of all, are you happy with them? Have you had any trouble with them coming off? How about cleaning? How much trouble are they to clean under?

TIA

I bought mine from Amzon and they arrived scratched up. Since they were the cheapest I had found AND since I was having them painted t match everything else it was no big deal.

The deal with them not coming off is to follow the directions to the letter. And use either 90% or higher alcohol or a good solvent.

I've only put about 800 miles (all highway) on the Stangsince I installed them and the only issue wassome "clicking" over 80 MPH. I resolved that with a few thin silicone bumpers where there was metal-to-metal contact.

Cleaning is a bit of a pain but you don't see the dirt. I used to have hinged louvers on another car and they were easy to clean.

Otherwise, I'm very happy with them. They look great.

I've had mine on for three years......once in a while I take them off for a little different look. I have the Astra-Hammond Textured ABS ones.

Thanks for your opinions, guys. I pulled the trigger yesterday, and they'll be here Wednesday.
