Hood Pin Missing...
Just got back from a mustang cruise and noticed one of my hood pins is missing...I cant believe it just fell out or maybe it did..I am thinking someone might have taken if off while I was away from the car just before the start of the cruise. Anyways, now what ?...where can i get a extra hood pin ???
that blows man thats my olny fear I have since i got rid of the lanyards. I take mine off when i go into places and leave them inside the car. id be so pissed if I had to buy anoither set of shelbys just for the pins. way to expensive man.
good luck. maybe see if the cheap ones from auto zone would fit.
I have a cheap set if you really want i can go see if they would fit, im not sure wich pins you have let me know and aill do it for ya.

Vic,
You did end up with the Shelby Billit pins, right? So funny you bring this up.......
On one of my pins, the ring, which of course is drilled into the drift pin at an offset, just does not want to stay connected to it...Kind of like the ring is too far out of round, or something....I've put it back together several times, and I can certainly see how if the ring popped out of the drift pin, how the ring could work it's way loose from the lanyard. I was just thinking about doing a search....Someone listed a site awhile ago that had all sorts of pins and rings.....
Just curious if anyone else has seen this issue with the Shelby pins. I agree with Tombstang....these are too expensive to have these kind of issues.....
