I here from my mustang guy that H&R springs are a way to go without losing to much in the ride area. They only drop the car between 3/4-1 inch all the way around and that doesn't cause you to have to adjust the cast or camber ( tilt of the wheel). Ive been considering them myself and have got alot of the same replies seen here.

I have Eibach Pro's and a CDC Chin. I did buy a low profile jack from Walmart for $40 and it fits under the car at the original jack points. Works great.

(It's a GM Goodwrench model though so you have to be able to look past that.)

don't forget the steeda sportor ultralites! also very popular.

less drop then the pro-kit/ford racing and bmr. and likely less harsh of a ride.

more drop then the roush springs.

my 2 cents:

cai/tune first.

lower second. as for what to do. everyone has got an opinion...

That Goodwrench model might get even with me for buying Ford and drop the car on me.

But thanks for that info. How low does it go? Do you have a model # for it?

This is one of those questions where almost eveyone has a different opinion on what isversus is not needed. If you want to read exhaustively on the subject here is the sticky: https://mustangforums.com/m_934501/tm.htm

If you want the short version of the majority opinion:
- Springs
- Adjustable PHB
- Dampers (Tokico D-Specs or Koni Sports are only suitable)
- some form of camber adjustment
- possibly relocation brackets - depending on drop and intended usage
- possibly adjustable UCA or LCAs - depends on drop, drive shaft being used, change in pinion angle

If you find all this confusing (believe me - I did when I first wanted to lower my car) then your best bet is to talk with a suspension expert at one of the Forum sponsors. I recommend calling Sam Strano - I think its safe to safe he is one of the foremost experts on the S197 chassis setup in the country. Real nice guy, easy to work with, reasonable prices. www.stranoparts.com

Depends on how low you want, what you're using the car for, how your roads are, etc.
