For the Gears I paid $180. (labor), the mid-pipe is easy enough to do yourself, as far as the Headers go $300. is a reasonable price....I wouldn't want to do that myself, it sounds easy when you read on the box "direct replacement of stock unit".....it is a Royal PITA.

WOWZA! i had no idea this would be a topic this large. its definetly interesting to see the differences in where people go to get work done though, 200 to 500 bucks for a gear install is a huge difference! ill keep looking tommorow because i have the day off and ill post back up here what kind of prices i get from other shops. my biggest thing with the gears, i dont mind paying less somewhere and getting a ****ty install, so long as the guys stand by their work and will do it as many times as it takes to get it right without charging me after the first try. i just moved out of my parents house and money isnt quite so easy to come by anymore.

I think your numbers are in line with what I've seen. However, I'm in the northeast so things are a bit more expensive. I've been quoted $600-$700 for LT installs so I'm not quite sure if shorties are different. I paid $400 for a gear install (good job and no whine) so your numbers to melook to be OK. I'm sure there are cheaper places and location does make a difference.
