Supercharge it, Kit it, AND Badge it. A true Saleen has the vehicle number on the front bumper and the dash. Only a true idiot would call you out on trying to pose if you don't have the numbers. Most of those who would call you out probably drive a heap that they lie about anyway.

I know how you feel. Personally, I would have to make sure it didn't say saleen on it ANYWHERE before I could drive around with it. Just my personal opinion. I wouldn't do it myself, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. If you like it, do it!

I sent you a PM...there is nothing wrong with it saying Saleen on the car...after all, it is their bodykit! That is like ripping "Saleen supercharged"off of the Saleen blower b/c your car isnt a Saleen...sounds dumb to me

I would probably badge it. The body kit as a whole plus the supercharger and nessecary center exahust would set me back around 8600. At that point it would be almost identical sans the speedometer and seats. I'm just wondering as to what others would think of that. Obviously, if I spend that much money on a GT I would not want people ragging on it all the time.
right, besides the suspention, interior dress up, saleen painted tires, and short shifter.

Even putting the emblems on is not posing....posing is telling someone it is a real Saleen. I say go for it bud and that is coming from a Saleen owner!

Do what makes you happy...I think it is a great blowerand a great looking kit.
I agree completely. I can't stand people who scream poser at anything. I'm putting the Roush body kit on my car, well most of it. I also bought the badges. But because I have red calipers and wanted something to carry the theme with the rest of the car. It's your car, do what you want with it. We're all enthusiasts who enjoy modding our vehicles to our likings.
