He shouldn't need moleskin with an 08 AFAIK.

Invisible glass is great to clean with but honestly I'd find something other than MF towels. I hate those things on glass. I always get a ton of fibers left over on my windshield. Worse, I've actually ended up scratching my car before because some tiny little bit of crap got stuck in the fibers on the towel. I always check mine carefully now before using them on the car.
I hope you're right - but who knows with Ford these days...[&:][&:]

Yeah everything I've heard is that 08s are ok.

^Lucky, my dad didnt believe me that it would scratch, so he wouldnt let me put the moileskin on. About a week or two later, there's already scratches, if it gets worse i'm gonna bring it back to the tint place and see if they'll re do it for free, otherwise my dad will be paying for the re-tint...

The tint on my 06 was completely destroyed. Tons of scratches. Had to get moleskin and a complete re-do.

YMMV.

Yes. Check tacobill's writeup on it. I think there is a guide. Stickies are your friend.

I had my 2008 tinted, moleskin not ness. No problems at all! You need to clean the tint with a silicone based cleaner, my tint guy provided me with a bottle.

I have a 08 and tinted no moleskin needed. Ford fixed the problem. So do not worry. If you buy quality microfiber and wash them with microfiber cleaner and NO fabric softner you will not have a issue with them. I get mine from Griots garage.com. Quality that costs a little more than Wal-mart but is far better for your car, and they last a long time.

All I use is water....and a soft towel. And you don't need moleskin (it sounds like cat whiskers to keep the glass off the rubber).
