Give a tire shop a call and see if the 275's will fit on 8" wide wheels.

Certain brand of tires may fit on a 8inch, but you will have bulge that will look weird and its not the safest.

Not these. Not only is that not such a hot deal (the buy it now is only slightly under what Summit Racing charges), but you'll need at least a 9" rim. See for yerself:
