I think the MRT anc CDC struts are the same. Just pick what name you want on them. I orginally looked at Redline. Mounted forward they are in the way, mounted backward they are longer than need be and they require additional holes ( unable to reverse back to bone stock).

I have seen the redline tuning in person and they work great but have two issues. You have to drill holes and then are so long and the bottom mount point is so far forward of the firewall, when the hood is open they are in the way if you attempt to work on the engine from the sides.. BTW- the ones i am getting off ebay are the NXT ones with brackets already painted my body color for an absolute OEM look.

ok, I give up. Why would you spend your time and money on this mod? In my opinion, it adds weight, it gets in the way, andthey don't look very good. I suppose it saves you about 2 seconds every time you want to get under the hood, but considering all of the installation time (drilling holes for some models?!?!!?).

I have two cars with struts (factory) and two cars with prop rods (and have had 10 or 15 others with prop rods) and.....I have never had a complaint with prop rods. What am I missing here?

prop rods get in the way, can get knocked down, don't look good if you are trying to show off your car at the local car meet...

Hmmm. I guess I never thought it looked cheap on the Ferraris, so it never occurred to me that it might look cheap on a Ford.......

No. Only the Enzo does. It's actually a rear straight bar that holds the hatch up. Others, such as the 430, all have struts. But hey, I like the idea of them on our cars, just can't justify the $115, so I'll continue using the time tested prop rod.
