gas spring technology was not around when the 250's and 308's were out. Thats why they had prop rods.

Don't know about modern, but plenty of Ferraris have them (308's, 250GT's, etc). The mustang is a V8 with a live axle, and was designed to look 40 years old. I think every mustang since 1979 has used a prop rod.

Like I said, I don't see the point, but if it doesn't make it faster, more efficient, last longer, or handle better, it wouldn't interest me. Car meets and bling just ain't my thing.

To each their own; enjoy your struts. There is obviously a market for this stuff. Who am I to judge another man's mod?

CDC or MRT is the way to go. I have the CDC but that was becuase I picked them up at thier open house fo $90. They are both made by the same people.
