I'm running the 87 tune with 93 octane because of the extreme heat that comes to South Carolina this time of year. Why? it stops denotation that can pierce pistons. When the weather cools again I'll go back to the 91 tune with 93 octane. My 91 runs better than the 93 tune and I don't know why. To be honest all my tunes are about the same except the 93 tune gives me better gas mileage.

No harm to your engine, just harm to your checkbook. If you're going to use 93, may as well get the tune for it - it makes the car soooo much more fun to drive.

Im not planning on staying with the 87, just want to run maybe a couple tanks worth to see how it runs thats all. I like the 93 perf, runs good. But my 93 torq didnt run too well and Doug was going to email me another tune to see how that runs. I was thinking of trying the 91 tunes, but that will be after trying the 87. Get rid of the 93 torq and 87, and try the 91's. The difference of price is nothing between 87 and 93 on a fill up, which is a dead horse issue on here, so if your going to run a tune, might as well get your money's worth.
