yeah just keep praticeing and especially on hills and traffic lights. i learn better driving stick in traffic lights then in a parking lot. and on hills if people get on ur bumber its fun to give them a scare when u roll back and maybe they will think again about getting close to ur bumber

one of my co-workers has a new jeep commader that he special ordered a 5speed for it.. and his came with brake locks that sensors an incline and stops him from rolling backwards untill he releases the clutch.. pretty cool

i guess i found the mustang a little easier than some cars such as a EVO or civic, because of the tq, it should assist you some in starting. but the cluch in these are quite a bit stiffer than many other cars, some think its easier, others will disagree

I will tell you one thing when your learning to drive a stick you realize how many hills there really are, and it seems to never fail that some is right up on your bumper lol. I used to get so nervous but that will go away with time and practice.
haha yeah especially in northern virginia, everyone is in such a hurry nowadays, plus i kinda roll but not like a two foot roll, i kinda tend to over gas it, and with the flowmaster set up that was on it when i bought it, it just roars, nomatter where i am on the gas.

You can also use your emergency brake on really steep hills. Let the clutch out until you feel it start to grab and release the ebrake slowly.

This was a big help to me starting out. I still use it if I end up on a very steep hill with someone on my ***.

Learning to drive stick is like getting a new girlfriend...she takes some time, but once you've been at it for awhile you break her in nicely!

Patience and practice is all you need my friend!!!

I learned how to drive a manual in my dads old vw fox he used to have.....
One day he was out of town and it was sittin there so i took it and i've been driving stick since then i was 14....a little young i know
Hills are gonna be the toughest to get down good but someone said to use the e brake and thats your best bet so u don't run into someone behind you!!
