You will be able to drive the car in a few days. However, I feel that it takes about a year to "know" how to drive the car, and be good at it.

get a summer job working as a driver at a car auction lot!
I "really"learnt to drive there,
I drove a heck of lot diffrent cars, and quite a few were muscle cars.
